QA Automation Engineer (All Genders)

The Role
Join us at the LucaNet Bucharest Tech Hub, a pivotal element in transforming our Corporate Performance Management software into a leading cloud-native SaaS platform. Since our inception in 2023, we've been at the forefront of harmonising efforts between our German and Romanian teams to drive our award-winning software into the future. 

As an Automation Quality Assurance Engineer, you're not just ensuring the quality of our software; you're a critical player in an agile team. By participating in refinement and planning meetings, you will have a direct impact on the direction of our project development, identifying automation opportunities from the ground up. 

Your Contributions 
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, prioritising automation to enhance software quality and efficiency. 
  • Work alongside developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to embed quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle. 
  • Utilise your expertise in Java and TypeScript libraries to create robust testing frameworks, ensuring the reliability of backend services and user interfaces. 
  • Take part in API and E2E testing, maintaining and improving existing tests, and addressing failures to enhance product quality. 
 
What We're Looking For 
  • A solid background in contributing to test automation frameworks, using Java or TypeScript is essential. Proficiency in both languages is highly regarded. 
  • Experience in software engineering, particularly in building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Java or TypeScript. 
  • Proficiency in API and UI testing, with a strong understanding of testing frameworks and assertion libraries to validate software quality comprehensively. 
  • Exceptional ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, in English.
